School Uniform

At Sidmouth we believe that wearing school colours gives children a sense of identity with the school, which helps children feel like they belong to the school community.  We expect all children to wear the school uniform and thank parents for supporting this.

NEW SCHOOL COLOURS
We are almost at the end of our negotiations with our supplier for our new school uniform.  Due to Covid-19 this has proved difficult due to closure of businesses and we ask for your patience at this time.  We are hopeful that we will be able to give you further information before the end of term, on how to place orders etc.

Below shows the items of clothing which will make up our new school colours.  Some of the garments will be embroidered with the new school logo, these will be available to buy through our selected supplier (see prices below), or purchased from various supermarkets logo free.

As previously advised, this is a phasing-out process and we understand that if you have old uniform you want your child to wear out/outgrow before you buy new ones, this is fine.  Hopefully after a short period this should leave us with just blue uniforms.

School Uniform should be selected from the following items:

•  Navy blue sweatshirt (round neck) or Navy blue cardigan

•  White polo shirt

•  Grey trousers, skirts or pinafore dress

•  Black school shoes

PE Kit

•  Plain white t-shirt
•  Navy blue shorts

•  Trainers

•  Tracksuit (for cold weather)

Other items (optional)

•  Navy blue fleece

•  Blue & white gingham dress

•  Grey shorts

•  PE bag / School bag

•  Book bag (with shoulder strap)

•  Book bag (handheld)

General Information
It is essential that all items of clothing and bags are clearly marked with your child’s name.

Uniform items, such as trousers, shorts, skirts, pinafore dresses, summer dresses, tracksuit etc, are standard items which can be purchased in most department stores and supermarket chains.
Trousers (and shorts) must be grey school uniform trousers (or shorts) stocked at most high street shops and supermarket chains.   For example denim material or denim style material is not acceptable.

We ask parents to support us in ensuring that all children come to school dressed appropriately.

Please remember that all items must be marked with your child's name, so that lost can be easily reunited with their owners.  Unclaimed lost property will be disposed of at the end of each term
