Children are taught how to be resilient learners. We use a set of eight learning muscles which enable the children to successfully access the principles of growth mindset. The learning muscle language is embedded into our language of learning. Each learning muscle is linked to a story and character.

 

We discuss with the children that they may not be able to do something YET, but as we learn and make mistakes our brains grow. The children are awarded certificates celebrating the learning muscles that they have been using at school.
