Year 6 Girls Football Tournament

Last night, our Year 6 girls travelled to Goals Soccer Centre to take part in a football tournament. The team played in three games, in a mini-league to decide who would be going through to the next round of the competition. The girls played exceptionally well, winning two games and narrowly losing one. The official results have yet to be posted, but it looks as if the team will be progressing to the next round! Congratulations girls!

SChool games logoAt the Year 5 and 6 Orienteering competition, Sidmouth performed very well. The tournament took place at Costello Athletics Stadium, and required teams of two to successfully navigate using a map. The children had to race to different points on the map and scan their code with an electronic dibber. The quickest pairs and teams to return were the winners. The pairs did very well in both competitions and we are now waiting for the official results.
